Since Telon was written before CICS return codes were invented, CA has chosen to use them only for new features such as journal processing.  Older situations are handled using HANDLE CONDITION or just crashing.  CASE Integrators has developed techniques for ALWAYS using and handling CICS return codes the same way database return codes are handled so well by Telon, all without any application programmer involvement.

Similar results can be achieved for DB2 return codes, SOC7s  etc.  Our objective is to cover everything that can go wrong with your programs so well that you will never need any other debugging tool.
